BIkepacking GR 50 day 6: shortcut festival

The penultimate day was shortened the day before. The past few days have taught us that we must always round up the numbers of the planning. A hellish journey of 78k and who knows +3500m, no we didn't feel like it anymore. Bikepacking must remain fun!

We navigated from one shortcut to another. At an average speed of somewhere between 8 and 10 km/u, a 60 km ride will be more than a full journey. In the meantime, the departure time had already been postponed to 7 am in the morning. Well begun is half done!

Our last place to sleep fell like a gift from heaven. An old alpine pasture formed the backdrop for our last night, where we arrived around 4 pm. With old relics scattered here and there, this place breathes history, beautiful views, wonderfully quiet, a spring, some bubbling of wild boars in the distance. A place that radiated zen.

Yes, lying there in the grass made me think about what life would be like in this place. We made cowboy camp to finish the last night in style. Under the open sky, richly filled with a thousand and one starsā€¦. Delicious! And with 2 guns steady šŸ˜Š
