Choosing the destination these days is much more challenging than making a trip. We still found a gap on the European color chart. When saying the heel of the boot, everyone knows it's going about Puglia. The heart of Italian olive production, trullis (not to be confused with troela, because they are there too), wine with loads and som nice weather.
Moreover, it was also our canceled destination during the Easter holidays. So, we still had a bone to pick with it.
Bo and Ebe were not allowed to come along now. That was the signal for me to make it a more adventurous trip. We rented bicycles, took panniers and drove through a considerable part of the region in 6 days. 375km. Hilde can be proud of that.
